Guide on Using the College Dashboard

College List

Here you can input any and all colleges you want to attend/apply here. Enter the name of the college, then enter what type of application it would be. Whether that be QuestBridge, CommonApp, UC, Coalition Apps, etc.

→ Under Application type, enter how you decided you are going to apply to that college, whether that be early decision, early action, restrictive early action, regular decision, or rolling admission. Here are the definition of different types of application plans.

→ Under categories, list what type of school this will be for you, whether that be a safety school, a dream school, or etc. Check out the template for more options!

→ Paste the website link onto the website part of the template. This will allow you ease of access to your school's website and also keep up to date on recent changes made to the application.

→ Finally, write down the deadlines of your application. It is always good to set reminders about when things are due so that you aren't stressing out last minute trying to fill out your application.

→ The choosing checklist under College List is there to help you narrow down what schools you wish to attend. It includes different properties, which can help differentiate schools to your liking.

Brag Sheet

Trying to get those letters of recommendations but don't remember what you did throughout the years? Use the brag sheet to write down any and all important or fun things you did your high school years. Any clubs, internships, opportunities, volunteer hours, or whatever else; write them here.

The purpose of the Brag Sheet is to organize what you have done throughout your high school career so that your teachers have the ability to write the best letter of recommendation for you. You can share the brag sheet with your recommender.

Enter your major interests, most recent transcript, and your top college choices. The colleges you are applying to will also show up here as a linked table from the first column you filled above.

Activities → Here you will write down any clubs or organizations you joined inside and outside of school. This will help your counselors get a feel of how diverse your experience is!

Awards or Honors → Any and all recognitions you received go here.
